Lottie Moon was born on the 12 of December on a tobacco plantation in 1840. She was very well educated. While she was still in college, she went to a campus revival and gave her life to the Lord. Soon, she went to be a missionary in China with her younger sister who later got sick and was sent back home. Lottie worked in China for a long time sharing the gospel. While she was there, she started a school for Chinese Christians, a church for Chinese people, and she baptized Chinese Christians too. Sometimes she felt like she was experiencing what Jesus went through, with people watching you eat, wanting to touch your clothes, and watching you do your daily routine.
Lottie Moon kept on preaching until her death in 1912. She sacrificed her life just for the other people around her. She even gave her personal food to the people who needed it. Because of this, she lost so much weight that her fellow missionaries worried about her health and sent her back to America. On the way there, she died at the age of 72.
CHALLENGE OF THE WEEK:
This week, think of something that could give
up, just to help the other people
